What do you want ?

I used to think that was a simple question to answer but in recent times I have discovered not so much.

As a recovering people pleaser, I based my answer on what might make others comfortable or impress them or something to the effect of serving the greater good.

These are all well intentioned and commendable even, but could also be a cop out, to doing the real deep work of understanding one’s true nature.

As I reflect this question back to other people, we can agree that the 3 big human priorities are:
Health
Relationships
Wealth

We may consider these themes in terms of preventative and restorative health; the quality of our relationship with family, friends, and associates; and wealth in terms of financial freedom and time freedom.

If you are wondering what the measures of success might be , may I offer a framework here that I call PIES.

P stands physical i.e. things you can see
I stands for intellectual i.e. what you think
E is emotional- what you feel
S is spiritual – what you believe.

This has been super helpful for me to stay grounded, and to understand areas of weakness and strength, as I reach for my wealth, health, and relationship goals.

Especially so, in the context of navigating the changing dynamics of our world systems- where the ultimate goal must be Joy and Fulfillment.
